AI Open Lab (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides MadCutAI, an Android app for generating videos from images, text prompts, and available templates. This Privacy Policy describes the data and permissions involved in operating the app, including services provided by third parties.
MadCutAI lets you take photos using the camera, select photos from the gallery, enter text prompts, and generate videos. You decide which photos and prompts to use. The app does not require an account.
When you request video generation, the necessary content, such as the image you selected or the text prompt you entered, is sent to fal.ai, an external AI processing provider, to create the requested video. Therefore AI generation does not occur exclusively on your device. AI content may be handled by that provider as part of fulfilling your request. AI Open Lab does not store your photos, prompts, or generated videos on a developer-controlled backend.
You manage media files kept on your device. You can use available device features to manage, share, or delete local media. Deleting local files does not necessarily delete information independently processed by third-party services.
CAMERA: Enables taking a photo to use for video generation when you choose to do so.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Declared for applicable media storage functionality; actual availability depends on Android version and device configuration. You can manage applicable device permissions in Android settings.
MadCutAI displays ads using Google AdMob. Its associated Google Mobile Ads technology may process device and advertising identifiers, IP addresses, interaction data, and diagnostics for advertising delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention. The app is configured not to use personalized ads. Non-personalized advertising may still involve data processing. Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) supports advertising privacy choices when applicable.
MadCutAI uses Google Analytics for Firebase (GA4) to understand app usage and improve its functionality. Depending on its configuration, the SDK may process app events, app-instance identifiers, device details, and approximate location derived from network information.
MadCutAI uses Firebase Crashlytics to detect and investigate crashes and stability issues. It may process crash reports, technical diagnostics, device and operating-system information, and app version information. These services are operated by Google.
When you request AI generation, the necessary image or prompt is transmitted to fal.ai. Google AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, and Firebase Crashlytics may receive information in connection with their respective advertising, analytics, and diagnostics functions. If you choose to share a generated video to a social app, the receiving service handles the content according to its own privacy practices.
